EchoSphere

About this project

EchoSphere is a Python desktop assistant built around spoken interaction. Instead of requiring every action to begin with a keyboard command, the application listens for speech, interprets the request through natural language command parsing, and routes it to the appropriate task.

The assistant also incorporates BeautifulSoup-based web scraping, allowing commands to trigger information retrieval from web pages. This connects the voice interface with programmatic access to external information rather than limiting the system to predefined local actions.

The project brings together speech recognition, language-based command interpretation, desktop automation, and web scraping in a compact application, providing an early exploration of how natural language can serve as an interface for software actions.
